I’m so glad you found me.

I am a freelance writer with a diverse background both as a writer and in unrelated industry. My prior experience encompasses retail sales, customer service, addictions treatment, public relations plus electronic security and loss prevention services. I believe my varied background enables me to grasp new information or apply previous knowledge with ease.

After earning my Master’s Degree in PR in 2004, I began working as a freelance writer. I have been published nationally and in local periodicals. Notable pieces include covering Hillary Clinton’s 2007 appearance at the NJ Democratic Conference, a profile on Women’s Basketball Hall of Famer, pioneer and guru, Mel Greenberg and Rowan Magazine’s Spring 2005 cover article. Past topics includes, health and wellness, personal and business profiles, feature stories, women’s issues, fashion and pop culture.

Concurrently, from 2004 to 2011, I was co-founder and president of the Baby Blue Foundation, a NJ 501c3. Major responsibilities included all aspects of Public Relations including but not limited to organizing fundraisers, special events, all media relations and acted as the group’s spokesperson and media liaison.

In 2011, I began focusing on travel writing. I cover local events and interests within a 200-mile radius of Baltimore, MD. Additionally, I blog about my more worldly travel.

Since shifting to travel writing I have authored pieces for The Baby Boomer News on multi-generational travel, RVing and riverboat cruising. Additionally, I worked as a contributor on a book rewrite, How to Start Your Own Travel Business, (Entrepreneur) with a spring 2012 release date.

Since July 2015, my focus has been exclusively on travel blogging. Some of the tasks involved have included designing and building my site, writing new content, making constant improvements to SEO and driving traffic through social media channels as well as traditional networking. All content including photos on the site are my own.

Specialties: Travel writing including print publications, blogging, online content and brochure and promotional copy.
